Hey look! NO 4 month gap between this post and the last one! *le shock* I don't expect I'll be able to keep that up though...

I've been attacked by multiples of FMA bunnies ever since the last post, so most of what I've been drawing for the last week or so has been ROYROYROYROYROYROYROYROYROYROYROYROYROY or EDEDEDEDEDEDEDEDEDEDEDEDED. Yeah, it's that bad. Might also be something to do with that upcoming physiology test, which I'm trying to forget about. My god, penises have never been so freaking boring before. I thought I'd never say that, but once you have to study them, but it's true. Except that rabbits can retract their balls. Now that's kinda funny. XD

Anyway, I've managed to actually finish another pic so here be the goods:

This one's kinda boring, but I do rather like Roy's hand at the bottom for some reason. Maybe because I'm in a retarded mood. Looks kinda like the screen for some shonen fighting game. Now that I look at it, Ed's lookng evil there. :S (DA and Mangabullet links. I'm such a whore.)

I've got more stuff, but I haven't finished/scanned the stuff in yet, and probably won't for a very long time. Damn that studying. I neeed SLEEEEEEEEEEEP. D:

So yeah I fell off the face of the internet again. Did mean to post more regularly, but well, life.

So update from the previous post: I passed the sup exams, so I get to keep my spot in the course. I have God and my dad's intense tutoring to thank. My respect of the old man has definitely gone waaaaaaaaaay up. Anyone who can make sense of neuroanatomy is superhuman. Gotta study more during the semester so that I don't fail gain. ><

Went to UK to watch my sis graduate during the break. UK's pretty awesome, except for the rain. Surprisingly good seafood too, Met couple of the gang there and it was just like the good old days, dirty talk and all. XD

Sucks that the break's so short, I missed several of my friends who went back to HK in August, boooooooooooooooooooooo. I miss you guys~~ T____T

So now I'm back in school, just as crazy as ever. Test next week! They're tying to kill us I swear, that is if we don't get killed by angry cows down at the farm first.They've got homicidal rages, and will try to kill you given the opportunity. And I'll be sticking my hand up their asses in the future. Excellent. -_____-;

Oh yeah ep 19 was awesome. Sad they cut out the Ling vs Envy, but the GARness of Roy totally made up for it. If I wasn't in his fanclub already, I am now. He is so EPIC. So I drew him looking awesome:

Tried to make him as EPIC and GAR as possible, to capture the feel in the episode. I think I'm getting the hang of cell shading, this one only took 10 hours in one sitting. I kept the messy pencils, but it still looks okay. Might use it more in the future, because it's good for more unusual lighting. Plus glowy makes everything more epic. I saw the trailer of the Green Lantern Direct-to-DVD movie on scans_daily, and holi shit he really did transform like a magical girl, ribbons and all. So I did the sensible thing and put him in Sailor Fuku. Now he's all pretty and frilly~~~

Edit: Wow, now I've just noticed how much Roy looks like he's FIREBENDING. Then again, he's pretty much just doing that anyway so yeah.

I don't intend to make this my emo journal, so hopefully this isn't going to be a habit.

I failed my anatomy practical exam. I knew I was going badly in this unit, but you know seeing that you've fucking FAILED is depressing. Blerg. Now I'm pretty sure I've screwed up my physiology exam as well. Godamnit Mel, why can't you do better? I'm so dissapointed in myself. T_T

Holi crap I haven't updated this thing for like 5 months?! Once again I appologise to the 5 people who kinda watch me for being not active. The good news is I'm not dead. Yeah. Kinda. This break means that I can do things like update this thing.

So lemme list what's happned to me since the last post:

- Went to Brisbane to visit silver_dahlia . I love you dear and I wish I could have hung out with you longer. You are awesome. *hugs* I wish you were in my Uni.

- Went back to Hong Kong for summer holiday where it was winter. Yup opposite seasons still wierd me out. XD

- Hugged, walked, played, trained, poop-scooped my puppy. Momo you fuzzle wump I wub you. You're so big now! I may post pictures at a future date, to share her cuteness with the rest of the internet.

- Friends! I hung out with them like lots and lots and lots. You guys are awesome I miss you all. *multiple hugs, especially amasawa* I envy you guys for the fact that you get to go back for Easter/Summer.

- Fooooood. Oh so yummy. Didn't know what I was missing until I came over here to Perth. Sushi, dim sum, hotpot... ONOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM. Pics may come later as well.

- Christmas with family. We went to Shenzhen for shopping and that was a lot of fun. I love you all God bless you all. Hope you have fun in UK this easter! :D

- Chinese New year. The advantage of studying in Australia is that you don't miss it. Red packets!!! Full of Moolah!!! MINEMINEMINEMINEMINE!!! MUAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAAAAA!!! XD

- Back to Perth and moved to a new flat in the student village. They may look nice on the outside, but they're really actually made of paper. Seriously the sound insulation is crap, and if you punch the wall too hard you could make HOLES. Plus if you look closely, they look like they were buit from Ikea sets. No wonder they went up so quickly. And the new pool is a freaking pond. A tiny freaking pond. I was so dissapointed. The pros though are that the rooms are bigger and the furniture is nice and new. Now I have a comfy shriveling chair. YAAAAYZZZ. Plush the flatmates are nice. :D

- Am now officialy in First Year Vet. I'm not so n00bish pre-vet kid anymore. 5 more years to go. XD

-Mourned the death of scans_daily. Celebrated it's rebirth on insanejournal. The slashy goodness will go on! XD

- Watched Phantom of the Opera with aizawa_mika . Shit, it was the most fucking epic thing I've watched EVAR. The awesome effects, the awesome singing and the awesome costumes blew me over. Plus the guy who played Raoul is SO FREAKING HOT. And the Phantom is an emo woobie. An homocidal crazy emo woobie, but an emo woobie no less. *hugs the guy and is killed by the Punjab lasso* Pics are at aizawa_mika 's journal if you wanna have a look. Where you will see my FACE. Which will be the only place which you will see my face on the internet, unless you've friended me on Facebook. Which means you already know how I look like anyway. For now. Plus we had jap food. That was yummy~

- Went to sansele's 21st birthday party. THE CAKE WAS NO LIE. IT HAD TRUE SWEET SUGARY GOODNESS. You're a big girl now! I wish you all the best in life! :D

- Goats are really really cute. We got to handle them during one of the pracs and this brown and white one kept nuzzling me. D'awwwwwwwwww. Sheep on the other hand are kinda neurotc and well, greasy. Sorry only_secret . I like goats better.

-Caught up with Kekkaishi. It's actually really good. Shonen-ey action goodness with lots and lots of character development. Fans of FMA will like this. Speaking of manga, I'm starting to read Trigun. Late I know, but then I get to read it from the begining to the end. :P Plus Vinland Saga: OH SHIT ASKELADD WTF HAVE YOU DONE.

- Fuck load of mid semester quizzes and exams. Anatomy! Physiolgy! Biochemistry!! Urrrrrrg my brain has become MUSH. Everytime I close my eyes I see freaking dog muscles. Plus there's still the prac exams after the break. >_< My god why is this course of bloody intensive!? We're not MACHINES you know.

- Watched the first episode of the new FMA anime. OH SHIT IT IS AWESOME. I was fangasming every 2 seconds. The opening was so pretty, and HOHOPAPA was in it. Al was badass and Ed was awesome in his whole shrimpy glory. *stabbed to death by spear* Roy sounded like Lockon from Gundam00 most of the time though. :S The latest manga chapter IS SO EPIC. Hints of Royai make me happy. DO NOT PISS THE COLONEL OFF HE WILL FUCKING BURN YOUR ASS. REPEATEDLY. Palm-tree boy never stood a chance. ARRRRG WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER MONTH ARAKAWA WHY ARE YOU SO EVIL. Knowing this will be animated (probably) makes me happy all over. :D

So that's basically what's happned in the past 5 months, and so to make this post more interesting than just a wall of text here's some slash between TYL!Dino and TYL!Hibari:

Yeah, Hibari's back from a mission and Dino's er, trying to kiss his injuries better,or something. IDK. O_o I tried using a different technique this time, which is why the outlines are kinda vague. Trying for a paintery look. My god why is TYL!Dino's hair so WTF-esque? It's like a swirling mass of WHUT. I can't draw it properly. Maybe to match his freaking Ponyta lol. Here's the DA link.

I'm actuallly updating this journal on a semi-regular basis. WOW. *sarcasm* Which in its self is quite an acomplishment, as I don't usually write much at all, seeing how my life is pretty eventless.
Anyway it's the last week of my lessons, and after this I will have offically completed my first year of classes, which is pretty cool I guess. Overall Uni has been pretty good, if a bit uneventful. I'm just glad to have met all these nice people, and also avoided all drama. I HATE drama, so this definately a good thing. The workload is definately much larger than highschool, but also much more freedoom. I can skive on a clean concience! I like that part the most 'cos I get to SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. XD

Wow that was seriously boring. I really need to make these posts more entertaining. -_________-;

Speaking of school, we saw a quenda when we were eating lunch today. It was pretty funny because everyone around was freaking out because it looked like a rat. You could hear all the chinese students exclaming in mandarin "ZOMG IT'S A RAT!!!!" while all the Aussies were all pretty chill and saying "Cool, quenda lol." My friend tried to take pictures but it was moving too fast. BTW for all you non-Western Aussies a quenda is a small marsupial, which incidentally looks a bit like a rat and is only found around the Uni area. Yes, even most Aussies don't know what it is. BTW, I drew more Reborn fanart for Halloween, which ended up more like something for the Mexican Day of the Dead instead. This time featuring TYL!Yamamoto! :DDD

I really don't update this thing often do I? I'm not even past the first page. I blame all these assignments and my lack of motivation. XD Well I'm posting some art I've done, to make this place seem less empty.

After much gloading from friends *cough*aizawa_mika *cough*, I've started reading the manga Reborn. Which is actually really good. Despite the overly shota main protagonist. Actually it might be BECAUSE he's shota that I like it. (I sound like a pedo lol)Plus Gokudera is hot. Scratch that, they're all hot. And it's put me in a fanart-y mood, which resulted in ths:

As for the non-art relatedness (wtf is up with my english?) sheep brains are kinda like jelly. So woobly and squishy. Though when it starts to dry out it's like putty. It was fun to squish. Squshity squish squish squish. (Carefully dissecting and observing the fragile structures, what's that?)Probably wouldn't taste nice though. XD Not much actual hands on work besides dissections though. Dammit I wanna tip sheep and terrorise pigs! :(

Wow. It's been well, almost a year since I touched this thing. For the 2 people out there who actually used to read this journal, I appoligise for not writting at all. Mainly life, psycological issues, school and general laziness got in the way I guess.

For those who are wondering (again, like a total of 2 people max) who were wondering, yes I'm stil drawing. In fact I haven't stopped at all. It's just that again I just never bothered to scan the crap in. ^^;

So I'm going to try to post a few times a week with my sketches on this thing, and maybe some of my stuff in life. Maybe. Hmm.

I've had this journal for god knows how long (about two years, when FMA was still airing in Japan, and Bleach a still reletively unknown manga...), but the only thing I've been doing with this is joining communities and more recently friending other people, but now I've decided to use this baby to post some of my stuff...call this a 'doodle log' if you wnat...

Wow this one's like OLD... drew that two years ago when the scanner was still working...(I know it sounds crazy that we still don't have a new scanner...but ours is a hybiid thing with the printer... and since the printer still works we haven't replaced it yet...)

Some more recent stuff! I did this with a mouse on oekaki... and because my hand was hurting too much I skipped the automail...
